How it works

One conversation. Four steps. Your directory.

We set up the portal and hand it over ready to use. Your office approves what appears on it and decides when it opens, the work on your side is an hour, then minutes a week.

The four steps

From conversation to directory.

  1. 01

    We set up your portal.

Your own address, logo, colours and office details. We configure it and hand it over ready to use. Nothing technical lands on your side.

    You

One conversation, and send us a logo and the office details. About an hour, total.

    We

Build and configure the portal, and hand it over ready to use.

  2. 02

    You share one link.

A ready landing page explains the directory and carries the form to add a business. Share it wherever your community already talks.

    You

Forward the link: WhatsApp groups, an email, a printed notice in shul.

    We

The page is ready-made, in your community's name, before you send anything.

  3. 03

Listings come in. Your team approves them.

Members submit their businesses; your team approves each one before it appears. Already have a list? We import it.

    You

Review submissions: about an hour a week while listings arrive.

    We

Catch duplicates, tidy categories, answer questions as they come up.

  4. 04

You decide when to go live.

The directory stays private while it fills. Your team flips it live when it represents the community. There is no deadline on our side.

    You

One decision, one switch. The launch page is ready for the announcement.

    We

Nothing goes live without your say-so. We're on hand for launch day.

Once live

Day to day, it’s minutes of your time.

This is what running it actually costs your office after the first wave of listings.

Approve what comes in

Submissions and change requests wait in a queue until someone says yes.

A few minutes, a few times a week

Keep details current

A new phone number is a thirty-second edit, or the business requests it and you approve.

As it comes up

Post community updates

A notice on the portal when there is something members should know.

When you have news

Who’s involved

One person in your office can run it.

Most communities start with one administrator, usually the secretary. Add more later, each with only the access their job needs.

Administrator

Approves listings, manages the team, decides what is visible. One is enough.

Editor

Enters and edits listings. No admin access, useful for working through a list.

Business owner

Manages only their own listing, and submits changes for approval.

Plainly

What we do, and what we don’t.

We do

  • Set up and configure the portal in your community's name
  • Host and run the software: updates, backups, security
  • Support your team by phone and email, before and after launch
  • Keep improving the platform; your portal gets every improvement

We don’t

  • Sell advertising on your portal
  • Contact your members, for any reason
  • Publish anything your team hasn't approved
  • Lock you in: your listings are yours, exportable in full at any time

See a real portal

A guided walkthrough of a live portal, about twenty minutes. Leave an address and we will arrange a time.

Going live

You decide when it opens.

The portal is ready from our side straight away. Everything after that is the directory filling up, which your team paces.

It goes live when your team judges there is enough on it to be worth opening. There is no deadline from us, and no point at which it opens without you.

More to come

The directory is the first module, not the last.
