What this covers

This policy applies to kehilalink.com, the company website. It covers people who contact us, book a demo, subscribe to product updates, or simply read the site.

This document covers kehilalink.com only. Business listings, community members and anything sent by a community are governed by that community’s own policies, published on its portal.

What is collected

When you submit a form on this site:

  • your name
  • your email address, and your phone number if you give one
  • the community you mention, and your role in it
  • whatever you write in the message
  • which page you submitted from

Automatically:

  • browser and device type
  • IP address
  • cookies: see the cookie policy

Text messages

KehilaLink sends text messages for one reason: signing in. A community administrator who asks to sign in with a code receives a six-digit code by SMS. There is no marketing by text, ever.

  • A number is added to an administrator account by the KehilaLink team. The person then agrees to be texted by ticking a consent box on the sign-in screen, unticked by default, before any code is sent. We do not collect phone numbers from the public.
  • A message is sent only when that person asks to sign in, so the frequency is however often they sign in and no more.
  • Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. Reply HELP for help, or write to office@kehilalink.com.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Phone numbers are never sold, and never shared with anyone for their own marketing.

Stopping the messages stops sign-in by code. The account still works: sign in with an emailed link instead, or ask the office to remove the number. The full text message policy sets out the programme in detail.

How it is used

  • to reply to you, which a person does
  • to arrange and run a demo you asked for
  • to send product updates, if you asked for those
  • to understand which parts of this site are useful

Submissions are stored before any email is sent, so that a message cannot be lost to a mail failure. They are read by the KehilaLink office.

Marketing email

Product updates are sent only to an address that asked for them, and the consent is recorded with the address. Every one carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
