• using contact details from a directory to send unsolicited marketing
• submitting listings or messages for a business you have no connection to
• attempting to reach data belonging to another community
• probing, scanning or interfering with the platform
• impersonating a community, a business or a person
• anything unlawful

Why the directory is not a mailing list

A community directory exists so that members can find and contact a business. Harvesting it to build a marketing list is the one abuse that would make communities unwilling to publish contact details at all, and it is treated as the most serious breach of this policy.
